2 Day Trip

Filed under: Memoirs — Xion @ 10:21 pm

Received a message from Adrian on Saturday asking me if I wanted to join a 2 day trip to Bukit Tinggi and mayb stop by Genting, didn’t reply him til Sunday, Wasn’t sure.. >.< but Nonetheless I went.

On Monday morning, I was late.. Oops. Hahaha.. We, Adrian, Felicia, Venny, Buddhi, Marsel, Suwandhi and I went to ss2 to have a dim sum breakfast. After that, it was straight to Bukit Tinggi.

The bridge at the entrance.

On the way in, there was this thing, so I took a picture of it. Carriage I think.

2 White Swans

Black Swan

Caught this beautiful flower while walking.

The signboard, where I was.

The building in side the castle. (We were in a small castle)

Ladders leading up to the bell tower.

Funny thing is, there was a lift up to the bell tower too.

The scenery was spectacular.

Caught this armour dude when we were asking the price of a room in the lobby.

A wishing well! Wished for a lot of things so I practically threw all my coins into it.

These pictures were taken from a French resort. Where we went for the first half of the day. The air was so fresh and clean up here. Missed the cold weather. Next we went to a Japan garden place.

The entrance of the Japanese Garden. (I think)

A Walk way.

A Small waterfall.

A sign near the fish pond. Says “Please Don’t Throw stones at me.”

The Irony about the sign is that the walkway was filled with pebbles!

Adrian working on his “magic” the stone thingy was like a water pump kinda thing.

Marsel actually went on top of the rock to pose this “Guru” pose.

The people taking a rest, from left Suwandhi, Adrian, Felicia.

From the left, Buddhi and Marse.

Thats Venny.

This was the steep road we walked up.

After the Japan Garden, we went to a Rabbit farm which wasn’t far away from the garden.

The farm had Donkeys and Deers too! but the smell.. Yuck!

We left Bukit Tinggi and went for lunch at a nearby restaurant.

The lady was actually very kind, she intro us to the signature dish and it was expensive.

Like advertising or something. :P Anyway, the food was awesome! D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S.

Later, we went to a Elephant Sanctuary.

BUT, unfortunately, the place was close for the day. -.-” It closes at 5pm, we arrived at 5.30pm. Great.*eyes rolling* We saw the elephants from afar and they were looking good. This center doesn’t charge people to see/play/bath (interact basically) with the elephant. They run on donation and the gov’s money. (I think) Later, sadly we went to Genting to get to our accommodation. It was at the Genting View Resort, nearby the resort. The “Villa Dominic” was run by a caretaker called, Uncle John, he was kind to us, very friendly.

The “Hall way” Directly was the girls’ room.

Room number R5; Dormitory was D, Rooms were R (Shocking!)

My room. Shared it with Buddhi and Marsel. We played RISK here too.

After we settle down and unpack all our stuff, taken our showers and clean ourselves. We had pray time, an hour or so. After that, we went to have our dinner near the Gentine Cable car station. The food wasn’t that good and it cost a bomb! (I hope you people go bankrupt! XD)

Anyway, after dinner we headed back to our rooms and played RISK! I tell you it was one of those games that was intense/insane! Treaties and threats were passing all over the board! Finally, Adrian was won the game. We played the old set that you can wipe our another colour. I was second to get wiped out. Darn! but I helped Adrian won cause he took my risk cards that gave him 10 reinforcements. They just had to take me off the board. -.-” The game end at 2a.m. imagine that. tired, and we were suppose to wake up the next morning at 8.30a.m. for our jungle tracking. It didn’t happen the guys couldn’t wake up, so , Adrian, Felicia, Venny and I went for a short walk around the area. Cool breeze touch my skin and face. Fresh air filled my lunges as I drew in every breath. You don’t get to experience this when you’re back in town or is it a city now.

After that, we went up to Genting Highland to have fun. Before we went to this “Hou Mei” to have lunch, we went on the “Flying Coaster” Boring.*Yawns* It great was fun the first time I ride it; but after that, it just became boring.

The food was not great but it was okay. Filled my tummy so I guess it was okay. Later we went to try the Ear-Deafening-Gun-Shooting-Game. After that Bumper Car!

Buddhi

Marsel

Suwandhi

Felicia

Venny

So these are the people that was with me the whole time. Sorry Adrian, forgot to take your picture. Pictures were taken during lunch before the food came.

When, we were about to leave the place there was this lady singing on stage. Powerful voice she had.

The lady in black, (ignore the purple ones)

It was straight to home after that. I slept throughout the journey home, too tired I guess. It was fun, a time for relaxation and meeting new friends.

I have an exam coming up on the 28th of September. (Damnation! I am not even prepared yet.) This stupid exam I have to take to continue on my part time job as a insurance agent. (Sucky) I have3 books to read! Totally don’t even understand what the f is the book talking about. I just hope i don’t fail, a simple pass would do. Help me people! *Screams!*

P/s: All the pictures were taken by me and my phone camera, I’m just glad it didn’t die cause of low battery!

P/s 2: Oh, Suwandhi, Felicia, Marsel and Venny are from Indonesia! ; Buddhi was from Sri Lanka! They’re studying in Monash University too.

So thats it for the day, tired and sleepy.. Gonna do the dishes and after that enter “hibernation mode” Miss you people out there.
